Dr. Steven Shwedel graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1972, and has been practicing in Taylor for 30 years. He is well known in the Taylor area for the quality of his dental work and the superb service he and his staff provide to all patients. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Shwedel has kept up to date by taking many continuing education classes every year, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive dental care. He is committed to offering patients the most advanced techniques and best materials in dentistry. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology set in a warm, friendly, relaxed environment.

Dr. Shwedel earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University. He then took a General Practice Residency in Advanced Dental Techniques at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.

Dr. Shwedel and his wife Joyce have three children. The youngest, Dr. Scott Shwedel, graduated from the University of Michigan school of Dentistry in 2006 and recently completed a one year Advanced Education in general Dentistry residency program, also at U of M.
